Hannover -part one

Got to Hannover....

I have been interested in this place since I was 17 when one of my friends from school was an exchange student, who was from Hannover. He was not lying.. this palce has everything. It bussles... I am staying in the hannover mitte ETAP- hotel chain run by accor. Really basic -no fridge, but everything is brand new and everything else you'd ever want is within walking distance. Something for everyone, Hauptbahnhof, shopping, pubs, niteclubs, cinema, places for kids, restaurants...

It's going to be good to be off the bike for a couple of days... I was a bit slow and lasy today and the last 20 k's seemed to go on for ever. not to mention getting lost/the gps software not accurately displaying the location of the hotel - Rund strasse 7 is not where Rundstrasse 7 actually is on the map as far as my gps was concerned. after 30 mins of farting around i rang the hotel and got some directions. The GPS got me within 300 meters of the place but unfortunately this place is so built up - think Sydney or melbourne CBD, it was a touch hard to find.

I am hungry- off to LIDL to buy some food...
